Heike Schütze is a Senior Adjunct Lecturer in the Office of Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine and Health at UNSW Sydney, and an Honorary Senior Fellow in Graduate Medicine, Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health at the University of Wollongong. Her research interests include health services and translational research, with a focus on primary health care; developing, implementing and evaluating interventions to improve health and social outcomes, especially in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations, other indigenous and minority populations. She specialises in qualitative and mixed methods research. Her teaching expertise in is public health, research methods, chronic disease prevention and management, evidence-based practice and health equity.
